Richard Geary DVM, MS - Veterinarian
Dr. Geary grew up in the Burley, Idaho area. He attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and his Master of Science degree in Reproductive Physiology. He then attended Washington State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. As a PhD candidate at Washington State University, Dr. Geary became an author of several published articles of Theriogenology.
Dr. Geary has 25 years experience as a veterinarian and has been serving the Southeast Idaho community since 1997. Along with his extensive experience and knowledge, he is one of two veterinarians in the state certified to do embryo transfer and shipment domestically and internationally.
Cindy - Office Manager
Cindy lived in various parts of California growing up. She majored in Office Education during high school and also while attending Ricks College (now Brigham Young University-Idaho) in Rexburg, Idaho.
After college, Cindy lived in the Sacramento area, married, and gave birth to her two children: Dillon and Lidia. She and her family moved to Rexburg, Idaho in 1997, where her third child Brandon was born. Cindy enjoyed working at Rexburg Vision Center for 12 years as a certified Paraoptometric assistant.
Cindy was re-married in 2009 to Dr. Geary and they have one child, Dezel, together. They have 9 children altogether.
Cindy's hobbies include reading, swimming, music, volleyball, and vacationing to warm and exotic places. Cindy's greatest love is for her family, God, and country.
Sawyer - Veterinary Assistant
Sawyer was raised in Rigby, Idaho, and lived there until he and his wife moved to Rexburg, Idaho. Sawyer graduated with a Bachelors in Animal Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho in the Spring of 2016. He is working on applying to Veterinary School and hopes to be enrolled in the Fall of 2018. Sawyer enjoys riding horses, reading, and being outdoors.
Sawyer handles most of the stallions during the breeding process and helps with all aspects of equine breeding here at the clinic. He assists Dr. Geary in all types of surgery and other medical cases. He also works with clients who have questions about breeding their mares, about our stallions, or about buying one of our foals that we have for sale. If you have a question about our clinic, Sawyer can most likely answer it!
